Chii

Made for my mom. She's a darling plush version of Chii from the anime Chobits. She is a Persocom(humanoid computer). This costume was a complete pain in the rump. It's from the Chobits artbook but instead of it being mint green my mother wanted peach. Needless to say i'm not a huge fan of ruffles right now after doing this dress and I did break my rule of using only crochet stuff for them but at that point I just wanted to get her done so I cheated and used wood spools for her hair ornaments.

Mink

Shes a cute little girl from one of my all time favorite animes, Dragon 1/2..She was actually one of the easiest dolls that I've ever done.My ex friend has my dvd of this so doing it was hard since i didn't have much in the way of reference pictures. At one point for her eyes I found a video of it on youtube, blew the screen up and traced her eyes right off the monitor.

Luna(Human Form)

For all of you who have been commenting on my dolls arigatou(thank you)it has helped keep me going...now for who we've all been waiting for(drumroll please).....LUNA!!!

For those of you who don't know she's from the show Sailor Moon. In the main story she is portrayed as a black house cat with a gold crescent moon on her forehead. But under certain circumstances she can transform ino her human form to help her freinds

Its hard to see in the pictures but her black skirt is all made out of shell stitch done in size 3 thread and with an h hook.not the brightest idea I had mind you but I wanted it to look all lacey without taking me a month to do.Also her necklace and anklet are all made from a necklace Ifound at a dollar store that Icut to look like her moon. Its actually a antique gold color but it wouldnt come out right in the picture. Next time I think I will try making one out of polymer clay instead.

InuYasha

InuYasha is from a japanese anime of the same name.hes a half-demon who near the end of the show has fallen in love with a girl who is from 500 years in the future.
I started him last saturday(June 20th,2009)during Knit in Public Day and even with losing a day and a half of not being able to work on him I still got him done in a week. (Finished June 27, 2009)
He has permanate residence as my bedmate. My mother even tried to steal him once he was done!.If my boyfriend ever sees him I wouldn't put it past him to try and steal him as well!

Kagome Higurashi

it only took me about a week this time(June 20, 2009).now i just need to make inuyasha and the set is complete. I'm not completely happy with her skirt but I couldn't for the life of me find my original notes from Umi's skirt so i had to pretty much wing it. Also her eyes are farther apart then I origanally thought but they won't come off so I'll just have to fix it for the next one of her that I make.

My First Doll(Umi Ryuuzaki)

The first doll I've ever made. Her name is Umi Ryuuzaki and she's from a japanese anime called Magic Knight Rayearth. Due to problems with the pattern she took me over 4 months to complete. The eyes are craft foam painted with acrylic and she's 21 inches tall. Her eyes are a bit cracked in the picture only because she suffered a bit of bed time abuse since I slept with her for the first month or so after she was finished.Eventually I'll find a way to seal the paint on their eyes so it will stop cracking.

Here are some pictures that I took of her:

Eventually I hope to get to making the two other girls that go with her.

Welcome!

This is my first blog experience and I'm so excited! I wanted a place where I could showcase my dolls. Mainly so that people could come and look and if they're interested enough to buy one.I'm hoping to start a small business with them if everything gets rolling properly and the demand is there.I could put my other crochet items here as well but I think that my dolls deserve a space of their own to call home.I would have placed them on either Etsy or Ravelry to sell but that will have to be put on hold for a while longer,at least until I can get enough money squirreled away to open a bank account. Meanwhile I hope that you all get a chance to visit and chat with me soon. Thanks for visiting and be sure to come back often to see what new stuff I have put up.
